Question: 1989 Chevrolet Silverado 5.7 L mileage: 114,000. The fuse that powers the horn, dash lights, and my taillights keeps popping. What should I do?
Answer: Normally a fuse will fail because there is a short circuit that supplies 12-volts to the system. Check each of the components that are powered by that fuse. We suggest checking the taillights first, especially if you have wiring for a trailer.

Question: 91 Dodge Dynasty 3.3lt. Sirs, I am looking for some one that may have a clue where the fuse box numbers and what they are for. I have a blown fuse that control my electric locks and my dash lights and also my lighter and radio. Other then pulling out all the fuses one by one It would be easier the know what fuses are what.
Answer: Rather than pull out each fuse, while the key is on, use a test light to test both sides of each fuse. This is the most reliable method because it tests under load.

Question: 1989 Pontiac firefly. When you turn on the headlights or park lights the 15-amp fuse marked tail in the fuse box will blow. This fuse has nothing to do with the headlights it is the fuse for the dome light and dash lights etc. once the fuse is blown or you remove the fuse from the circuit. There will be no problem with the headlights and if the headlights are turned off, you will be able to replace the fuse and the dome lights and dash lights will work fine until you turn on headlights thanks, Boyd
Answer: It seems you have a bad ground connection. Check the various ground wires with an Ohmmeter for resistance.

Question: 95 Mercury Grand Marquis V-8 mileage: 75,000. The hazard flasher and directional signal stop working. My owners guide tells me it is in the fuse box under the dashboard, but it is not. Could you tell me where it is located?
Answer: Both components are on the passenger compartment fuse block located behind the left side of the dash. It is tucked up under the dash so that it will not be kicked.

Question: 1991 Chevy, Lumina Euro sport 6 cylinder mileage: 85,000. My blinkers are not working wanted to check for blown fuse. Where are fuses at on this car?
Answer: The fuses are located on the right side of the dash in the glove compartment.

Question: 1988 Lincoln Towncar, mileage: 156000. The blower motor keeps blowing a fuse after a few minutes of running. In addition, some kind of fog comes out of the vents when driving even though the system is not on. Can I repair this myself?
Answer: The blower motor problem may be something as simple as to small an amp fuse or the blower motor is shorting out and the motor needing replacement. The fog coming out of the vents is probably the result of a small coolant leak in the heater core.
